December 2018

Wine Enthusiast

Packed with fruit while hinting at mature toastiness, this wine is now in perfect balance. Its white fruits are from half-and-half Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, shot through with acidity while having a ripe character. Rich while also crisp, it is ready to drink. -- Roger Voss

Brut Rosé Millésime 2012

November 2019

93 Points

Wine Advocate

Offering up attractive aromas of blood orange, red berries, peach, orchard fruit and brioche. Henriot's just-released 2012 Brut Rosé Millésimé is medium to full-bodied, satiny with fine concentration, ripe but racy acids, a delicate mousse and a long, saline finish. This is one of the more intense, vinous wines to emerge from Henriot in some time, and it's very promising. –William Kelley

View From the Cellar

A simply stunning bottle of bubbly! The color is a fairly deep salmon. The bouquet is pure, ripe and beautifully detailed, wafting from the glass in a vibrant mix of raspberries, blood orange, chalky minerality... On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied, focused, refined mousse and a long, balanced and complex finish. This is dynamite Rosé that is drinking very nicely at age seven, but has the potential to age long and gracefully.— John Gilman

Bright white fruits and a fine balance between richness and crisp acidity are the hallmarks of the nonvintage Champagne from this producer. Perfumed and with delicious apple and peach fruits, the bottling is ready to drink.

Vinous

Oyster-shell reduction and a note of lime on the classic Chablis nose. Dense, juicy and firm, boasting excellent definition to its flavors of oyster shell, lime and white flowers. Penetrating but not aggressive in spite of its firm acidity, finishing with excellent subtle length and grip. This terrific village wine is an exceptional value--but make sure you get the Domaine bottling.
